In 1993, a group of stakeholders representing organizations throughout the Commonwealth and committed to the expansion of high quality school-age care and after-school programming gathered together to form the PENNSYLVANIA SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE ALLIANCE.
Since that time, PENN SACCA has been providing after-school and school-age care professionals with the information, training and resources they need to deliver quality care.
By becoming a PENN SACCA member you have chosen to become involved in a statewide, nationally affiliated organization dedicated to the promotion and development of quality programs for school-age children during out-of-school hours.
As an affiliate member of the National AfterSchool Association, PENN SACCA offers both full and associate memberships. Full member benefits include statewide and national conference discounts and all PENN SACCA and NAA electronic and print publications.
It is time to apply for or renew your membership for 2012. We enthusiastically welcome newcomers!
As a PENN SACCA member, you join hundreds of school-age professionals and youth organizations who are dedicated to quality school-age care. Your membership helps us continue the mission we have striven to fulfill over the last eighteen years.
To complete your 2012 membership, simply fill out an application form and mail along with the appropriate membership fees.
The membership year runs from January through December.
Remember too that membership in PENN SACCA fulfills a Keystone STARS professional development standard.
Upon receipt of the 2012 membership application FULL MEMBERS will be eligible for the conference discount at the 2012 NAA Convention, April 2 ~ 4, 2012, Dallas, Texas and our annual professional development conference scheduled for November 2nd & 3rd, 2012 in Harrisburg. Our statewide school-age conference features national presenters and exposes school-age child care staff in Pennsylvania to a high quality training opportunity.
